Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama invites teachers and students to our annual Gulf Coast Children’s Book Festival. This free event features children’s book authors, live book readings, and free book giveaways for teachers, students and entire classrooms! Drawstring backpacks will be given to the first 2000 children. Established in 2019, the goal of the Gulf Coast Children’s Book Festival is to get books into the hands of young readers and inspire a life-long love of reading.
